Seascale Cricket Club is a successful and established cricket club with 2 weekend teams, 1 team playing midweek cricket and 2 junior teams (under 11 and under 13 age groups). The club has agreed to affiliate to SASRA from January 2016 and for 2015 have accepted continued sponsorship as part of enabling this transition.

The 1st XI play in Division 1 of the North Lancashire and Cumbria Cricket League having gained promotion last season.

The 2nd XI is a newly created team for the 2015 season and is entered in Cumbria Cricket League, playing most of its matches on Sundays.

The Midweek XI play their cricket in the West Allerdale and Copeland Cricket Association (WACCA) with a key aim of developing younger players in the club when they have grown too old to play in the Junior teams. They play home games on Thursday evenings.

The Under 11 and Under 13 teams play in their respective age group of the Cumbria Junior Cricket League; the under 11 team play matches on Monday evenings while the newly formed Under 13 team play their matches on Sunday mornings.

General practice sessions for both Junior and Senior players are held on Tuesday evenings and for Senior players only on Thursday when midweek games permit.
